COVID-19 Response
As people and organizations in Nunavik manage the impact of COVID-19, Tamaani Internet is taking active measures to help our customers and employees prioritize their well-being and safety. As daily life gets disrupted for Nunavimmiut, everyone is shifting towards digital communications.
We at Tamaani understand the critical role our network provides in these times. We will continue to closely monitor the developments related to coronavirus and its potential impacts to our people and our communities.
The Tamaani main office in Kuujjuaq will be closed to the public as part of the social distancing in order to reduce the spread of the virus. Nevertheless, we are at the ready to assist you throughout this situation, our phone lines, faxes and support email will be open under a reduced Customer Service schedule from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
To help support Nunavimmiut throughout this uncertain time, we are enacting the following measures until further notice:
- We will not be doing any disconnections for non-payment until further notice. However, we strongly recommend you pay your monthly internet charges on time to avoid a larger than normal invoice once things return to normal.
- We will waive the reconnection fee for any customers that have already been disconnected and make their payments to get reconnected.
